Bill Welte, a popular conference host, speaker, and beloved “music conductor, is the Executive Director of Advancement with America’s Keswick which is a Christian Conference and Retreat Center, with Addiction Recovery programs for men and women. From 1997-2024 he served as Keswick’s President & CEO where he created the “Freedom Fighters,” a daily encouragement email for men. The Colony of Mercy is the oldest residential addiction recovery program in the United States, now in its 117th year of ministry. In 2014 Barbara’s Place, Keswick's residential addiction recovery ministry for women was founded.
Prior to his ministry at America’s Keswick, he served as Vice President of Ministries at Sandy Cove. He also served as Director of Music in several churches in the Philadelphia area and managed Fox Chase Christian Bookstores for 15 years. Bill has been married to his childhood sweetheart for 52 years. They have four married children and 12 (and soon to be 13) grandchildren.
