This is my third year as Director of The Marsh. Each year gets better and better!

I have been involved with camp and kids my whole life!

I grew up going to a girls camp in the Adirondacks of upstate New York, led backpacking trips in college (which is how I met my husband Nate) and facilitated outdoor ed for 5th and 6th graders in Michigan. Along the way, I led Pioneer Girls and directed children’s ministry at two different churches.

I have two boys who are lifelong Marshians, and a black lab named Edith who is my 4 legged alarm clock. For fun I enjoy reading, running and eating donuts, though rarely at the same time!

Can’t wait to see you this summer – Evelyn

I have participated and worked in camps for 9 summers and have loved every season! Through those summers I have camped in cabins, tents, and on an island. I grew from camper to CIT to counselor and in 2015 started as Activity Specialist at the toadally awesome Marsh Day Camp. Camp is such a great place to meet new people, make new friends, and have awesome meaningful outdoor experiences!

I recently married a handsome man and now live in Cecil County with our fabulous dog, Tucker. Whenever I can, I like to explore new places, draw pretty pictures, and drink pink lemonade.

This is my third year working at the Marsh and I am excited to have another great summer with you!

A couple random factoids about me include that I love the color yellow and my favorite animals are elephants. I also love writing music, hammocking, and writing letters (especially to my sponsor children in Honduras and Columbia).

One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 12:2, which reads, “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”

I cannot wait to meet you or see you again this summer! God Bless!

Hello! I'm Sadie. I'm 19 years old and I live in Pittsburgh, PA, home of ridiculous slang, Heinz Ketchup, and Mister Roger's Neighborhood. I've heard that there are also some fairly good sports teams...

Currently I am a Junior at California University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Secondary Education - English. When I'm not at school, I work at a coffeeshop, watch 80's movies, and pretend I can swing dance even though I really can't. Some of my other interests are Spider-man, knitting, and museums with dinosaur exhibits.

This is my second summer at the Marsh, and I am psyched to be back for another great summer! If you see me at camp, please remind me to put on bug spray.
